Dr. Hakan Berkil, MD, completed his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and further specialized in Medical Genetics in 2000. He attended Advanced Technologies Laboratory in Paris for special training in molecular diagnostics for six months. Until 2006, he had pivotal roles in the establishment and managment of Genetic Diagnosis Centers in private leading hospitals. In 2006, he founded GENETIKS Global and currently serves as Managing Partner and Medical Director there. Throughout his career, Dr. Berkil has contributed significantly to genetic research, publishing over 20 articles in international journals and contributed as a speaker in more than 100 national and international conferences. He is recognized for his expertise in reproductive genetics, preimplantation genetic testing, prenatal testing, cancer genetics, rare diseases, pharmacogenetics, sports genetics, nutrigenetics and genetic counseling.
