Prof. Dr. Beyhan Tüysüz, MD, PhD, is a renowned Medical Geneticist. She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, in 1985. Then, Dr. Tüysüz embarked on a remarkable academic journey, acquiring expertise in various fields including public health, internal medicine, and pediatrics. Her passion for genetics led her to pursue a PhD in medical genetics, and she was awarded a professorship in 2001. For over two decades, Dr. Tüysüz served as a respected professor at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine where she held both academic and management positions. She has authored over 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on pediatric genetics, rare disorders, teratology, and medical genetics.
