Liquid biopsy for the detection of somatic mutations in circulating cell-free tumor DNA (ctDNA) from a blood sample
WHY LIQUID BIOPSY?
"Liquid biopsy" is a safe, non-invasive, highly sensitive and cost-effective method for analysing circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in the plasma of patients diagnosed with cancer or of individuals at risk of cancer.
By analysing ctDNA isolated from the patient's blood, we can detect clinically relevant genomic alterations and match them to targeted therapies and clinical trials.
The OnkoGENETIKSTM Liquid Biopsy gene panel covers a broad spectrum of high-priority genes that play the greatest role in cancer progression. Hotspot regions are analysed for specific genes.
